I wrote this for my girlfriend
back in college. We went to different schools in different cities
and spent a lot of time apart. I always had faith that our paths would cross
again and one day we'd say how we really felt. And that sort of happened.
She wrote the book and TV series Roswell and named the villian Sheriff Valenti.
But that's another story, and another song. Back in the day, she was
all I could think about.

Miss You
Sitting in my room, alone and confused
All I can do is think about you
We were once so close and now so far away
There were so many things I wanted to say
I miss you.
A6-D-A6-D
G-A-G-A
A6-D-A6-D
G-A-G-A
D-G
And
I know that one day I’ll be there
By your side with everything to share
But for now all I want to do
Is whisper in your ear, that I miss you
A6-D-A6-D
G-A-G-A
A6-D-A6-D
C-G-A-D-G
So many times we’ve called
So many times we’ve said good-bye
So many times we laughed
So many times I heard you cry
Em–G
Em–G-D
Em–G
Em–G-D
Your picture, I hold in my hand
Your soft lips my fingers once ran
I want you close to touch your hair
I want to be with you to show that I care
I miss you
A6-D-A6-D
G-A-G-A
A6-D-A6-D
G-A-G-A
D-G
And I know that one day I’ll be there
By your side with everything to share
But for now all I want to do
Is whisper in your ear, that I miss you
I miss you
